Publish2 Conference Call

The purpose of the call is twofold: (1) Explain to the uninitiated what Publish2 is and how it works (Josh Korr of Publish2 will be joining us for this); (2) Come to a consensus on how we'll share news and links with Publish2 and decide which tags, etc. we'll be using to aggregate.

The Washington Newspaper Publishers Association has kindly offered to host the call. Before we can give out a number, we need a list of everyone participating in the call and their e-mail addresses. Once you've RSVP'd on to this event, please send your e-mail address to myself, Angela Dice, Brianne Pruitt, Elaine Helm or Seth Long so we can add you to the list.

Times listed are PST and the conclusion time of the call is open ended.

This is production day for us at the Record and deadline is pretty much just after 1 p.m. I'd love to hear what was said though so I'll check out comments afterwards. Thanks, p.

As is the case for many weeklies, Tuesday is deadline day, so I'm not sure how long I can attend.

WNPA will provide a conference line. I've asked them to publicize the call in the weekly email to member publishers. Is this event on 5/5 or 5/1??
